Additional Costs
Departure clean and linen laundering: $600
We realise the cleaning and laundry charge is expensive - but that is less than the cleaner and the laundry charge us and we want to ensure the house is in good condition when guests arrive - and restored to it after they leave.
Deposit for damage: $500
A refundable deposit which will only be used if you cause damage other than normal wear and tear or incidental breakages like glassware
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION
DEPOSIT
50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm a booking. Payment in full is required immediately if booking is made less than one month in advance.
FINAL PAYMENT
Final payment is required one month prior to arrival. Failure to pay the balance payment by the due date means the reservation will be cancelled, in which case the deposit will be forfeited.
CANCELLATION
Cancellation made less than one month prior to the due arrival date (or if the guest fails to show up) will result in the full accommodation charge being payable with no refund, recognising it is very unlikely we can secure another booking at that late stage.
Cancellation more than one month prior to the due arrival date will result in the deposit (50% of the full accommodation charge) being retained by us. The remaining 50% balance (if paid) will be refunded.
All assistance will be given to enable cancelling guests to claim on travel insurance to reimburse the loss if they are required to cancel for insurable reason.
